Course

White Manor, a “must play” venue, features rolling hills, valleys, streams and ponds. Situated in the  magnificent Radnor Hunt country in Chester County, ‘The Manor’ is spectacularly scenic and will be  alive with dramatic colors. The course, which has hosted numerous LPGA events, was redesigned and  renovated in 2003 by highly rated course architects from Bobby Weed Design (Pointe Vedra Beach,  Florida). The redesign re-routed the holes into a more strategic design, while preserving the overall  layout, and opened to rave reviews and accolades, including Golf, Inc.’s U.S. Course Renovation of the Year.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT, PRIZES AND AWARDS

  • The event will be a “modified scramble” (all players drive; foursome selects a drive; players play their own ball from there).
  • Individual prizes will be awarded for longest drive, straightest drive, closest-to-the-pin (all par threes), and the traditional “Double-Flag Birdie Challenge” on Whitemarsh’s 9th Hole.
  • Team prizes will be awarded for low gross and low net (based on a Callaway Format — some abstruse, cryptic and wholly esoteric algorithm).
  • Hole-in-one prizes apply on all par threes (car, travel packages, and/or cash prize).
